🔍 I’ve been working in the digital forensics/eDiscovery field for four years. Recently, I’ve made the transition from Examiner to Senior Processing Engineer.

Projects

1. ✍️ On this site I’ll have articles covering a range of topics like digital forensics, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), movies, books, fitness, and just general life advice.
2. 🎬 A goal of mine is to turn the articles I write into YouTube videos. Along the way I hope to learn about video editing, presenting, and speaking.

Things I’m Interested In

1. 👨‍💻 I do my best to stay up-to-date with the latest news in information/cyber security. Most of my attention is on digital forensics and incident response (DFIR).
2. 📚 Getting lost in a good book is something I’ve loved to do since I was a kid. I still enjoy fantasy, sci-fiction, and biographies/memoirs, but in the past few years my focus has shifted to material covering time management, finance, and personal development.
3. 🎥 From Westerns to Korean revenge films, I watch it all.. except romantic comedies 😜.
4. 🥋 I’ve been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for about three years now, and earned my blue belt last summer in July 2021. I’m not trying to win at Worlds or go to the ADCC, but I do try to compete at least twice a year.
